Browser Requirements:
The following browsers are supported by our tax preparation program.
Our program on Windows:
Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher.

Firefox 1.0 or higher.

Our program on Macintosh:
Macintosh OS X or higher.
Mozilla Firefox 1.0 or higher.
Safari 1.2 or higher.
Download Safari for Mac OS X here.
Other Browsers:
AOL version 7.0 or higher.
Netscape 8.0 or higher.
Mozilla 1.5 or higher.
Opera 7.0 or higher.
Note: These other browsers are still undergoing testing and have not been fully endorsed for our program. Therefore, we cannot guarantee their compatibility with the tax program.
Browser Settings:
Our program requires the following browser settings to allow dynamic programming.
Pop-ups must be allowed for this site.
Cookies must be allowed. Note: IE 6.x users must set the Privacy setting to Medium or lower.
JavaScript must be enabled.
The site is best viewed with browser text size set to Medium, which is usually the default setting.
Proxy Connection:
If your internet connection requires a proxy server, you need to ensure that your browser settings are set up for both HTTP and secure sites.
Pop-up Blockers:
If you are using pop-up blocking software, it must be disabled.
Monitor Display Settings:
Our program requires a resolution of at least 800 x 600 pixels and is best viewed with system fonts set to Small Fonts.
Printing Requirements:
Adobe® Reader® 4.05 or higher must be installed to print your tax return.

General Use of Our Program:
Security Time-out:
For the security of your tax information, our program automatically requires you to log in again after 20 minutes of inactivity.
Page Loading Issues:
The information on every page in our program is saved when you navigate from one page to the next within our program. You should make sure each page has fully loaded before continuing to enter your tax data.
Printing Issues:
The printable version of your return appears in a pop-up window. Pop-up blockers must be disabled to print your return.
When using an Adobe® Reader® product that displays PDF files on a Macintosh, your Adobe window may display behind the browser window.
E-mail Issues:
To ensure that you receive important e-mails, please do one of the following:
Add customer_support@internet-taxprep.com to your e-mail address book, contact list or safe list.
Disable your e-mail filtering “SPAM” or “Junk” software.
Look in your “SPAM”, “Revoked”, “Junk Mail” or “Bulk Mail” folders for our e-mails.
If you are not able to do one of the above items, use your Help section or contact your e-mail/internet provider’s Customer Support to find out other options.
